Copies of Paintings

Copy 1
The copy was painted on a fairly small scale (compared to the original by Hashimoto Kansetsu), for a client who had originally seen the artist's work in Japan.
Copy 2
This painting by Thomas Jones Barker depicts the Relief of Lucknow in 1857. It was copied for a client whose ancestor was present.

Copy 3
A client who had decided to sell the original painting (by Carmichael) asked to make the copy.
